"Escape from Tarrytown" delves into the nostalgia of 1995, as the Sleepy Hollow Middle School History Club spearheads a fundraising effort to resurrect the Ichabod Crane Schoolhouse. This story allowed us to have an innovative and artful lens. Our Fall Festival fundraiser boasts a Haunted House, Haunted Hayride, and Festival. I was the Art Director and crafted the visual identity with a blend of nostalgia and cinematic allure, channeling my childhood fascination with spooky tales as well as my current love for film. I drafted the floor plan as well, showing a balance of creativity and practicality.
My partner contributed the project estimate, schedule, risk assessment, festival interactives, and ride vehicle. Together our project created a holistic and detailed plan for an innovative and immersive queue.
I created a video mood-board to set the tone, animated concept art to illustrate the interactive features, a handmade diorama, and floor plans created in Vectorworks.
